Center for Oncology Psychology Excellence
Who we are
The Center for Oncology Psychology Excellence (COPE) is part of the Graduate School of Professional Psychology at the University of Denver. Our mission is to train students to develop a specialty in working with patients and their families going through cancer. The COPE therapists are advanced doctoral level psychology students practicing under the supervision of licensed clinical psychologists with many years of experience working in oncology settings.
What we do
COPE provides high-quality, confidential mental health care services through the Professional Psychology Clinic (PPC) at the University of Denver. We welcome all patients, caregivers, family members and health care providers. We operate on an affordable sliding-scale payment model and accept Medicaid.

These services can help with:

- Dealing with bad news
- Coping with a chronic illness
- Anxiety and Depression
Right now we are primarily operating via Telehealth and will continue to update clients on our return to in-person services.
