Current Research Projects
Caregiver Speaks
Caregiver Speaks is a research study of a free 6-week storytelling for family caregivers of persons with neurodevelopmental disorders led by Dr. Talia Thompson at the University of Denver in collaboration with Children's Hospital Colorado Rett Syndrome Clinic.
Project CONNECT
In partnership with Brian Be, Self-Advocacy Coordinator at CU Anschutz, this one-year study is a collaborative effort with neurodiverse youth using photovoice methodology to explore their lived experiences and understanding of wellbeing through photography. The project will culminate in a public phot exhibit to showcase their work and insights and to inform inclusive programming, training psychologists to best serve the needs of neurodiverse children and their families.
