Kristin Yeager

Dr. Kristin Yeager is a postdoctoral fellow with Denver FIRST's forensic psychology fellowship. She completed her master's degree in forensic psychology at the University of Denver and earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in forensic psychology, at Pacific University (Oregon). She completed her predoctoral internship at Utah State Hospital, a forensic and civil psychiatric hospital for patients throughout the lifespan. Her doctoral research has focused on criminal responsibility, forensic evaluations, practitioner bias, and quality of forensic reports. She has worked in diverse settings including medical centers, inpatient psychiatric facilities, state hospitals, residential treatment centers, community mental health centers, and forensic evaluation private practices. Her professional interests include working within the lifespan, forensic evaluation, competency restoration, and advocacy.
