The Dual 4+1 MASC program provides opportunity for undergraduate students at DU to complete their requirements for their bachelor’s degree (either BA or BS degrees) and a Master of Arts in Sport Coaching (MASC) in five years. This dual program appeals to any BA or BS undergraduate major at DU interested in sport, mainly appealing to undergraduate KINE majors that seek to pursue a career in coaching with a master’s degree. In this way, students can begin taking MASC courses in their senior year, replacing undergraduate elective credits with MASC course credits. To receive both degrees, students will be required to maintain programmatic requirements from both programs.
