Professional Biography

Sewit Belete, is a first-generation Ethiopian raised in Kansas City, Missouri. She has hands-on experience working with Tigrayan refugees in Sudan, and internally displaced communities in Tigray. Her passion lies in enhancing mental health systems through applied research, beginning in Ethiopia and extending to a global impact.
